Conviction or Dissimulation?
Who do you trust? Why? What is trust?
I am forced to consider this with regard to obligation toward God, if he does indeed exist - and I am convinced of it! If I am to understand that trust is only worked out in action then I am truly challenged. For what is trust if left at words?
So how am I to display my trust in God? How am I to do this so that it makes a difference to how I live? And how am I to talk about it so that it makes sense to anyone unfamiliar with the tenets of Biblical christianity? Not only this, how does one talk about these things without sounding incredibly trite?
And whatever I think, I shouldn't be saying it if it's hypocritical? Even if I truly believe it?
